Are you ready for more Marimekko fabric? Marimekko is tripling the output capacity of its textile printing factory in Finland! The Marimekko textile printing facility in Helsinki has been operating at capacity for over a year, so the additional equipment will provide a much needed boost to current capacity needs as well as future growth.

What’s really interesting is seeing how much fabric is already being produced. In 2010, Marimekko’s factory produced 1.1 million metres of fabric (over 1.2 million yards). For a better understanding of just how much Marimekko fabric that is, we came up with these references. Enjoy!
